A 15-minute Discovery Call is recommended to help determine whether Functional Medicine is the right approach for you. After this initial call, new patients are typically able to schedule an appointment with the doctor within about a week. If you're going to see one of our dietitians, it is possible that you may need to wait for a GI Map stool test to be ordered, completed, and the results returned before your appointment, which usually takes around four weeks.
If you prefer to see both the doctor and the dietitian together in a 2.5–3 hour session, this can be arranged and will be scheduled so that your test results are available for the appointment.
Please note: In line with our commitment to high-quality care, all consultations are recorded and transcribed using a secure AI tool. This tool is approved for use within the NHS, ensuring safety and confidentiality. All information from your consultation is stored securely, with access strictly limited to the consulting clinician responsible for your care. No other party will have access to your information.
We will assume you understand and agree to the recording and transcription of your consultations under these conditions. If you do not agree, please inform the practitioner at the start of the Discovery Call. A summary of your Discovery Call will be sent to you afterwards, along with appointment options.
